What We Do
FCV Tobacco Contract Growing and Purchasing
Operating a sustainable Flue-Cured Virginia (FCV) Tobacco Contract Growing Program, from which most of Shasha Tobacco’s green tobacco requirements for blending, processing and shipping are sourced. Contract growers with experience and exceptional growing skills have been carefully selected over the years
Purchasing of FCV tobacco from Auction Floors
Shasha Tobacco compliments its total green FCV tobacco purchase requirements through sourcing of tobacco from licensed tobacco auction floors.
Blending, processing and shipping to clients’ specifications
We have the expertise and experience to develop and purchase any tobacco blend a customer may want.
Sustainable Tobacco Program
Shasha operates a robust Sustainable FCV Tobacco Production Program premised on the proper and safe use of Crop Protection Agents with in-built traceability protocols; elimination of Child Labour in tobacco production processes amongst other Good Agricultural and Sustainable Tobacco Production practices.
Logistics
We offer transport services for input distribution and bale collection for our contract growers. We also operate logistic services for dry stock up to FOB Durban or Beira or any other eco-terms set by the customer.

Shasha Tobacco (Private) Limited is in the business of producing, purchasing, processing and offering Zimbabwe tobacco known world-wide for its natural flavour. Our buying team has the experience and expertise to formulate blends required by the customers at competitive prices. We supply different tobacco products including tipped & threshed blends (strips), long and short stem, fines, cut-rag and others.
We have the expertise and experience to develop and purchase any blend a customer may want.
Lamina
Our main product is Processed FCV Tobacco lamina strips. This is tobacco that has gone the tipping and threshing processing plant and packed in hard card board cartons. There are various blends we have to offer our valuable customers. Over and above that, Shasha Tobacco is nimble enough to manufacture blends to meet the customer specification and needs. Our range of for Nicotine is between 1.7 – 4.0% and the sugars range is 10 – 22%.
By Products
1. Stems: We also sell FCV tobacco Stems, this are the midrib of a tobacco leaf and thus are the by-products of tobacco threshing processing and are packed in cartons.
2. Fines: We also sell Fines which the small broken particles which are held at the final screen when tobacco is being threshed. They are another form of tobacco by products they are also packed in hard card board cartons.
